SOC is seeking a full-time Talent Awards Manager professional for the Reston, Virginia office location. Responsibilities: * Assisting Chief Human Resources Officer in planning, designing, implementing and administering a comprehensive rewards strategy, policies and programs. * Manage and administer the salary band structure, including updating ranges. * Conduct analyses of jobs, base salaries and incentives to evaluate internal equity, external competitiveness, and legal compliance of SOC pay practices. Determine appropriate market rates for jobs. * Administer and support the development of non-sales incentive compensation programs, including documentation, eligibility, tracking within HRIS system, and working with Finance for budgeting. * Prepare compensation analyses and reporting for HR, Management and Executives. * Manage job matching and data submission processes for compensation surveys. Analyze and utilize survey data results. * Support the development, design, and administration processes for the sales incentive compensation programs. Understanding of sales commissions plans. * Work with the Chief Human Resources Officer with external comp consultant to prepare market based executive compensation programs and design equity compensation programs * Administer the annual salary review program, including merit increases and promotions, as well as annual bonus payments. * Evaluate new jobs, promotions, and re-classifications and recommend compensation elements for positions, including base and incentive pay, market range, and placement within SOC salary band structure. * Research and monitor FLSA and EEOC compliance. Evaluate and administer overall job levels, pay grades and company-wide market ranges. * Serve as compensation consultant to department managers and HR Business Partners. * Research and analyze compensation trends in the marketplace, develop recommendations based on results. * Work with vendors on benefit plan administration including annual open enrollment efforts. * Effectively manages and collaborates with vendors and external partners, including managing performance of contracts to ensure maximum value of services is delivered. * Act as project manager for total rewards for all acquisitions; includes integration of newly acquired businesses and employees into current benefits, continuity of care and coverage is established. * Partner with HR and leadership on appropriate total reward packages to recruit and retain talent. * Develop and coordinate communications strategies and activities designed to educate and inform employees about total rewards. * Manage performance management and rewards and recognition programs for the company. * Prepare annual budget for total rewards and manage expenditures related to benefit programs. * Serve as the main resource for employees and managers regarding all benefit related matters. * Determine and implement metrics that assess and monitor the effectiveness of ongoing Total Rewards programs and new initiatives. * Communicate actively with Accounting, Finance, Operations, HR and other departments to review cross-departmental impacts and reconcile data sharing. * Manage data in accordance with the companys record retention policies and procedures and state and federal laws and regulations. * Maintain confidentiality of work-related issues, records and company information. * Manage day-to-day administration of the equity program including accurate and timely recording of new equity awards, exercises, terminations and releases for all employees and other equity holders. * Monitor system for accuracy of equity-related activity; interface with third-party on all matters related to administration of company stock plans * Routinely interact with cross-functional teams (HR Payroll, Accounting, Audit) to provide relevant data and analysis for processing and compliance, including monthly and quarterly reconciliations. Requirements Mandated Requirements: * 5-7 total years of experience in Total Rewards (Compensation, Benefits, Wellness) * Bachelors Degree * Sales incentive & commission plan experience * Stock plan experience * HRIS and reporting experience * Knowledge of HR operations procedures * Must have excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills * Sound knowledge of the Regulatory and Legislative imperatives and impacts related to Total Rewards programs (FLSA, Sec 125, ERISA, 409A, HIPAA, etc.). * Experienced with vendor-relations preferred. * Strong analytical skills with the ability to work through processes, identify and implement process improvements and resolve complex matters. * Strong organizational/prioritization skills with an ability to multi-task to manage multiple projects while maintain a close attention to detail. * Proficient in Microsoft Office; advanced knowledge of MS Excel. * Self-starter with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. * Ability to maintain confidentiality.
