involving database technologies, from data store selection to

knowledge of Redshift, Aurora-Postgres, AWS database migration
tool, AWS Schema Conversion tool. This role requires extensive
collaboration across functional teams and be able to provide SME
knowledge to application teams. This resource is part of Enterprise
Database Engineering team supporting AWS and Cloud initiatives.Job
DescriptionTHE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKEThe Senior Cloud Database
Engineer -role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your
own, while working alongside people who care so that you can
deliver on the following responsibilities:
- Develop moderately complex solutions for application design and
IT infrastructure components.
- Understand the end-to-end performance of IT platforms.
- Draft and maintain policies, guidelines, and standard operating
procedures.
- Independently monitor advanced performance and capacity metrics
for technology solutions.QualificationsTHE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO
THE TEAMRequired Experience: -
- 5+ years relevant technical experience
- 2+ years AWS experience
- SQL and No-SQL experience
- Redshift, Data Warehouse, Analytics, Cloud Migration, AWS
database migration tool, AWS Schema Conversion tool, AWS
AppStream
- Proficiency in Programming in one of the languages Java or
Python is preferred.
- Knowledge of AWS Infrastructure (IAM, Security Groups,
Federated Access, VPC, etc.)
- Experience working with AWS stack of Databases (RDS)
- Working knowledge of Cloud Watch, Cloud Trail
- Skilled in cloud technologies and cloud computing
- Influencing ability including negotiating, persuading others,
facilitating meetings, and resolving conflict
- Programming skills including coding, debugging, and using
relevant programming languages
- Ability to frame ideas as systems and analyzing the inputs,
outputs, and process
- Skilled in establishing and maintaining consistency of a
product's performance, functional, and physical attributes with its
requirements, design, and operational information
- The group of skills related to Communication including
communicating in writing or verbally, copywriting, planning and
distributing communication, etc.
- Adept at managing project plans, resources, and people to
ensure successful project completion
- The group of skills related to Relationship Management
including managing and engaging stakeholders, customers, and
vendors, building relationship networks, contracting, etc.Desired

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- AWS Certification

Elastic Beanstalk, Lambda, Step-Functions, ECS , VPC, CloudWatch,
Document DB, Neptune, Sagemaker, S3, IAM ,SNS
- ETL: Talend, Pentaho or Informatica
- NoSQL: Dynamo, Neptune, Mongo/Document DB, Cassandra
- Cloud Environment: Amazon AWS
- RDBMS/SQL: Oracle 11x/12x/19x, Postgres 9.6.x/10.x/11.X, MS-SQL
Server 2008/2012/2014, -Amazon RDS, Aurora, Amazon Redshift
- Architecture /modelling: ER Studio Data architect, Gliffy,
