Intelligent Waves, delivers innovative technology solutions to enable a more secure nation has a need for a Program Financial Analyst to track the financial position of projects/contract/programs from contract award through contract close out, and ensure the various contracts requirements are met. This is a mid-level position managing multiple projects.

Location: This Program Financial Analyst is remote.
Travel: No regular travel is required in this role.
Security Clearance: None required.

Responsibilities

• 
  
• Performs monthly review of projects and performance against budgets/cost proposals with variance explanations
  
• Prepares annual budgets for the projects assigned
  
• Works with Project Manager and Accounting team to ensure new projects are set up correctly
  
• Ensures invoices are billed in accordance with contract requirements and reconciles billings for each contract line item (CLIN) as required
  
• Performs monthly financial analysis tracking key performance indicators
  
• Prepares monthly projections of revenue and expenses for projects based on numerous variables and objective and subjective data assumptions
  
• Work with assigned Program & Project Manager(s) to ensure program budget needs are met including preparing Estimates to Complete on a monthly basis
  
• Prepares ad hoc reports as requested
  
• Ability to understand and convey cost impact of operational decisions via reports and communications to managers
  
• Ability to interpret contracts, identify contract risks, recommend and implement risk mitigation procedures
  
• Work with management on internal reviews
