The Senior Vice President, IT Strategic Program Management Office (PgMO) will serve as the strategic interface with assigned business units for the purpose of supporting the delivery of IT services, project management, governance, compliance and business relationship management. The role will lead and define IT Governance and IT Project Management best practices, processes, methodologies, and policy to ensure alignment with corporate strategy and goals in support of existing services. In a strategic role, the SVP will partner with colleagues across IT, operational business areas and external resources to deliver solutions for improving business process integration and driving cost effectiveness. This executive-level role also serves as a central governing body to review adherence to methodologies, budgets, and timing and ensures compliance with current IT general controls (ITGC) and applicable regulations. In addition to the PgMO function, this role maintains oversight over ongoing Corporate (back office) systems solutions, application development and maintenance of enterprise applications.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Work in a collaborative fashion with cross-functional leaders to determine the strategy and priorities.
• Serve as the business relationship linkage between the business units and IT at the executive level.
• Provide leadership and guidance around overall IT Governance, IT program/project management best
practices/templates and provides training/mentoring to both operational and IT project teams.
• Endeavor to understand the specific needs and demands of the business community to ensure services are
properly aligned to these needs.
• Communicate decisions, priorities, and relevant project information to appropriate levels of staff regarding
business unit requests, projects and initiatives.
• Identify dependencies across multiple inter-related technical projects and coordinate cross functional resources to
remove barriers to success.
• Foster and maintain best-in-class internal and external communications. Keep Senior Leadership informed of
significant activities, project status and financial impacts.
• Lead, plan, coordinate, and supervise all activities related to the design, development and implementation of
corporate systems, application development and software solutions and technologies that support the goals and
objectives of COMPANY.
• Develop strategies and plans for cost effective and efficient integration of business services supporting business
operations.
• Review and maintain ITGCs and collaborate with relevant stakeholders (Internal Audit, External Audit, Compliance
and the CISO) to ensure compliance with SOX and applicable regulations.

Education/Requirements:

• Minimum of 15 – 20 years demonstrated in-depth technical experience in systems engineering to include previous
experience in project management, implementation, integration & management of large scale mission critical
applications, governance, risk and compliance, and business relationship management.
• Advanced knowledge and 15+ years of experience in governance, compliance, and risk management, including
establishing a risk management framework.
• Experience with Deltek CostPoint, CRM, Time and Expense, IBM’s Cognos, and SaaS are a plus.
• Demonstrated in-depth professional finance experience to include previous experience in implementing and
managing a large-scale ERP, in financial applications.
• Excellent relationship management and consulting skills which results in proven ability to quickly earn the trust of
key stakeholders, motivate teams; set direction and approach, resolve conflict, deliver tough messages with grace,
execute with limited information and ambiguity.
• Expert change leadership and change management skills.
• Extensive experience serving in a leadership role in a shared services environment at a Fortune 500 company,
preferably in the government services industry.
• Sound business and technical acumen, with demonstrated agility in learning and ability becoming comfortable with
unfamiliar businesses areas or of technologies.
• Bachelor’s Degree in business administration or information systems, with an accounting or finance emphasis is
required.
• MBA or Master’s degree highly desired.
• Must possess excellent leadership skills and ability to motivate employees to perform at peak levels.
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
• Strong knowledge of a government contractor preferred.
• Must possess a strategic vision at the highest level.
