Job Description:

A local religious organization located in Reston, VA is seeking an experienced administrative assistant to join their team. The administrative assistant will have two primary areas of focus: providing administrative and strategic support to the Clergy and Executive Director, and managing the day-to-day communications. Responsibilities: Administrative Assistant

  • Manage calendars and plan spreadsheets
  • Schedule and confirm appointments
  • Draft correspondence and presentation materials
  • Create and manage all community communications through various delivery methods
  • Maintain company website
  • Collect articles and photos and organize quarterly newsletters
  • Other tasks and duties as assigned Job Requirements:Requirements: Administrative Assistant
    • Highly organized with a superb attention to detail -
    • Ability to prioritize according to supervisors' expectations and meet deadlines -
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills -
    • Ability to work independently -
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Google applications (Docs, Sheets, Calendar)
    • Experience with Social Media management; experience with Constant Contact is a plus
    • Familiar with WordPress and comfortable with light graphic design
    • 1-3 years experience as an administrative assistant or related title -
    • Background check required Location: - Reston, VA Pay: $40-60k - Hours: Mon-Fri, 9a-5p
