Job Description As a valued leader on our team, you will manage a team who is responsible for planning and implementing all aspects of marketing policies, objectives, and initiatives. THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE The Marketing Manager will lead and have primary responsibility for marketing strategy supporting Fannie Mae's ESG engagement with stakeholders and related third parties. This role will require strong cross functional interaction. The ideal candidate will coordinate with internal subject matter experts and metric owners to ensure internal and public metrics and progress are defined, tracked and communicated following brand standards. Responsibilities include: * Marketing Strategy and Management: Establishing thought leadership on key ESG topics, leveraging paid, owned and earned channels * Communication and Storytelling: Clearly present information to an audience verbally or in writing in a way that is engaging and easy to understand. Includes presentations, copywriting, planning and distributing communication, etc. * Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with business leaders, strategic marketers, global brand stakeholders to determine internal and external "go-to-market" strategy for ESG * Content Marketing: Help build an ESG library of multi-channel content to help support the broad continuum of education including white papers, case studies, infographics, social posts and more, to help drive interest in our ESG and enterprise-level products * Business insight: Support marketing research for development of strategic recommendations and consistent reporting on campaign success, insights, and leading practices using metrics and KPIs to inform future tactics * Campaign and agency management: Manage oversight of the portfolio of campaigns and activities in alignment with business goals, including thought leadership, advertising, sponsorships, web optimization, collateral writing and design, and event execution * Brand management: Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone of voice, and optimized for search and user experience for all channels * Facilitation of leadership/stakeholder approvals of marketing strategy, content, and deliverables Influencing including negotiating, persuading others, facilitating meetings, and resolving conflict. Qualifications THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM Minimum Required Experiences * 8-10 years related experience Desired Experiences * Bachelor degree or equivalent Skills * Collaboration and relationships: Skilled Relationship Manager?including managing and engaging stakeholders, customers, and vendors, building relationship networks, contracting, etc. Can work with people with different functional expertise respectfully and cooperatively to work toward a common goal * Experience in Sustainability Marketing: Supporting the promotion of a company's sustainability initiatives and/or socially responsible products, practices, and brand values * Marketing Strategy: Partner with business units and the Marketing & Communications organization to build ESG marketing strategies that support our brand, integrate with other product offerings to provide a positive customer experience, and align with business priorities. * Entrepreneurial spirit: Passionate about building something from the ground up; driven by discovering new opportunities and finding creative solutions to bring innovative concepts and ideas to market. * Comfortable with ambiguity: Enjoys projects that evaluate new ideas in an experimental environment, and the challenge of solving complex problems.
