Job Description:
Cox Automotive, a leader in automotive services and solutions,
is seeking a highly skilled Automotive Mechanic Technician I to
join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be essential in
maintaining and repairing automotive systems, ensuring high levels
of functionality and reliability. You will work closely with a team
of skilled professionals to deliver top-notch services that meet
the high standards of Cox Automotive and our diverse clientele,
including car manufacturers, dealers, and buyers. This position
offers you the chance to enhance your technical skills while
working on a variety of vehicles in a well-equipped, modern
facility. Perform routine vehicle maintenance and repairs,
including but not limited to, engine diagnostics, brake servicing,
and transmission repairs. Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive
systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering,
suspension, braking, and air conditioning. Use diagnostic tools to
identify issues and determine necessary repairs. Keep accurate
records of each repair performed on vehicles. Collaborate with
other technicians and staff to ensure customer satisfaction and
efficient work processes. Maintain a clean and safe work
environment in compliance with company and safety standards.
Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment. Strong
understanding of automotive systems and components. Excellent
problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a team and communicate
effectively. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
