Job DescriptionWhat You---ll Get to Do: As a CACI-WGI (The Wexford Group International) Flight Safety & Standardization Instructor, you will provide current and customized training and subject matter expertise to a diverse base of U.S. and foreign military customers both in the classroom and in field environments. You will speak and present to large groups of students, ensuring the orderly conduct of the class. Customers include Conventional U.S. Forces, Special Operations Forces, and Foreign Partners conducting combat operations on today---s asymmetric threat battlefields.More About the Role: You will serve on a training team with responsibilities include:Help develop and provide daily staffing support for the DTRA sUAS Flight Safety Program, Flight Safety Risk Assessments, Safety Newsletters, updates to sUAS SOPs/policiesInstruct/support instruction for both classroom and field sUAS Flight Safety Orientation and standardization training on multi-rotor and fixed wing sUASsAct as a sUAS pilot in command or visual observer for flight operations in support of C-sUAS Training or Test & EvaluationConduct/assist in preparation, pre-flight, set-up, teardown, and transportation of sUAS training kits for the purpose of conducting flight operationsAble to travel within the continental USA and internationally to a lesser extent to support C-sUAS Training or Test & EvaluationYou---ll Bring These Qualifications: Previous instructor experienceFAA Part 107 Pilot certification with minimum of 20 hours logged flight operation experience in Class/Group 1 and 2 sUAS platformsKnowledge of Flight Safety, crew resource management, risk management regarding sUAS flight operationsCapable of instructing both classroom and field small Unmanned Aircraft System (sUAS) operations on multi-rotor and fixed wing sUASsFamiliar with aircraft Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and checklistsMS Office proficiency and ability to work in an individual and team environmentEffective organizational level communication, presentation and interpersonal skillsMust be able to work independently and in teams while still maintaining rigorous attention to detail required in an operations environmentUS Citizen with Active/current Secret (S) and ability to obtain TS/SCICurrent Driver---s LicenseThese Qualifications Would be Nice to Have: Previous manned aircraft (or Group 3-5 UAS) aircrew/instructor experienceExperience with obtaining sUAS airspace authorizations in the USAExperience with obtaining waivers to 14 CFR Part 107Experience operating sUAS including multi-rotor and fixed wing (like DJI Phantom and Parrot brand sUAS)Experience conducting independent operation of sUAS (drones) in demanding environments (real time risk assessment)Experience working with Joint Air Forces and Ground Units in permissive, semi-permissive, and/or non-permissive environmentExperience instructing Flight Safety, Program Management, and developing SOP'sExperience and ability to write and edit courseworkExperience and/or training in executing Mission Assurance or Vulnerability AssessmentsWhat We Can Offer You: The Wexford Group, International (CACI-WGI) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of CACI with a reputation for uncompromising standards of quality in its people and its performance.
