Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Provide
specialized speech-language pathology services in a dynamic K-12
school environment serving elementary and middle school students in
the greater Washington, DC area. This full-time contract position
offers the opportunity to collaborate in a supportive setting where
caseloads remain manageable, ensuring quality care for students.
Key Responsibilities: - Deliver individualized speech-language
assessments and therapy to students with communication disorders. -
Manage caseloads typically around 50 students, not exceeding 55. -
Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to
develop and implement effective treatment plans. - Maintain
accurate documentation and comply with school and state
regulations. - Participate in professional development and team
meetings. Qualifications and Experience: - Certificate of Clinical
Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology is required; Clinical
Fellows are welcome with supervision provided. - Active Virginia
Speech-Language Pathology licensure. - Experience working with
school-aged children is preferred but not mandatory. - Commitment
to start promptly due to time-sensitive credentialing including VA
Department of Social Services check and TB testing. - Candidates
must be available for onsite duties with no remote or hybrid
option. - Part-time candidates considered if able to commit to a
minimum of 20 hours per week. Location and Schedule: - Positions
are located onsite in the Woodbridge, VA area, approximately 45
minutes south of Washington, DC. - Workweek consists of 37.5 hours,
Monday through Friday. - Assignments vary but typically involve no
