Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. A full-time special education teaching position is
available for the current school year in a K-12 school located in
Lovingston, VA. This role focuses on supporting elementary students
with special education needs, providing an opportunity to make a
meaningful impact in a dynamic learning environment. Key
Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized education
programs (IEPs) tailored to students unique needs. Deliver
differentiated instruction that fosters academic growth and social
development. Collaborate with general education teachers, support
staff, and families to ensure a cohesive approach to student
success. Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and
adjust strategies accordingly. Create a positive and inclusive
classroom environment that encourages student engagement.
Qualifications and Experience: Valid Virginia special education
teaching certification. Experience working with elementary-aged
students in a special education setting. Strong understanding of
special education laws, regulations, and best practices. Effective
communication and interpersonal skills to partner with students,
families, and staff. Ability to manage a diverse caseload with
