Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A temporary
position is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
(SLP) to provide onsite services in an educational setting in
Purcellville, VA. This contract role will primarily involve working
with elementary students, with a portion of the caseload including
high school students as well. The assignment covers a leave of
absence and offers the opportunity to support students
communication development in a dynamic school environment. Key
Responsibilities: Deliver speech and language therapy to a diverse
caseload of elementary and high school students Assess, plan, and
implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
Collaborate with educators, families, and school staff to support
student progress Maintain accurate documentation and comply with
school and district policies Participate in team meetings and
contribute to multidisciplinary collaboration Qualifications: Valid
Virginia Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required
Experience providing speech therapy services in a school-based
setting Ability to manage a mixed caseload, with a focus on
elementary-aged students and some high school students Strong
communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration
with school personnel and families Position Details: Location:
Purcellville, VA (Frederick County Public Schools) Setting:
Elementary and High School environments Duration: January 5, 2026,
through April 2026 Hours: 7.5 hours per day, 35 hours per week,
with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break Contract: Leave coverage
