Job Description
Mandiant's Enterprise Technology Services (ETS) provides
Information Technology services for the entire enterprise. The
Network Engineering and Operations team provides global networking
services for ETS across all clouds, data centers, offices, and
remote workers. These network services are critical to the success
of the Mandiant products and solutions. As and NRE you will be
expected to work with deploy and manage the below technologies with
the ability to be able to automate and streamline processes and
deployments as opportunities become available.
The Network Engineering and Operations team is seeking an
experienced Network Reliability Engineer (NRE) with deep experience
across various networking technologies and tooling The NRE is
responsible for assisting in the operational and deployment of all
network infrastructure combining the tasks of a software engineer
with a network engineering skill set to deliver key projects and
networking solutions across the globe for Mandiant. A successful
candidate will have a solid understanding of network operational
tasks, such as device upgrades, audits, change requests, and
incident handling - then develop solutions that automate and scale
operations to eliminate toil; automate troubleshooting,
configurations, and upgrades; engineer reliability; and increase

What You Will Do:
Assist in operational aspects of the team's daily workload
Assist in ongoing datacenter migrations
Assist in new network deployments across all technologies when
needed
Deploy and maintain DDI infrastructure globally
Be a part of continuous improvements efforts to help develop SOT
and integrate with CMDB
Maintain existing tool sets and develop automation strategy to
maintain cohesive set from our SOT
Develop network automation and orchestration to scale business
solutions
Automate network workflows
Build and deploy the network through a DevNetOps pipeline
Act as an escalation point for network team
Represent network team for local office needs
Qualifications
Requirements:
Deep experience with the following network technologies:
SDWAN and routing protocols BGP and OSPF
Data Center spine-leaf networking VXLAN and EVPN Technologies
Public cloud connectivity such as Direct Connect, Transit Gateway,
and Express Route using Megaport and Packet Fabric SDN
Industry leading firewalls, routers, and Switches
Panorama and PaloAlto Firewall experience a plus
Juniper Mist deployment and operational experience
AVI and F5 LTM and GTM experience
Experience with networking tools that do the following:
Network telemetry, monitoring, and logging
Network performance engineering
IP Address Management
Network Management
DNS and DHCP deployments using BlueCat or Infoblox a plus
Competent in the use of Cisco ISE building NAC frameworks for the
entire organization
Network Reliability Engineering experience with the following:
Orchestrated Configuration Management
Infrastructure-as-Code
Scripting
Ansible, Python, Terraform, Jenkins
Additional Qualifications:
Network, cloud, and/or security certifications a plus
Effective communications and working with various teams and
stakeholders
You must be able to work with a high-level problem and be able to
successfully break it down into manageable deliverables to meet
project deadlines.
Take ownership of responsibilities and be able to work as a
cohesive team to solve issues and seek every opportunity to
automate and innovate
Effectively develop documentation and keep it maintained
Effectively communicate and present to Senior Management and
Leadership
Strong time management skills to balance workload
