Location: Arlington, WA Shift: 6 AM - 4:30 PM, M-Th Pay: $20-25/hr
Job Description We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to
join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for
assembling units, parts, equipment, and components according to
blueprints and specifications using hand tools and power tools.
This role requires precision and attention to detail to ensure
compliance with standards. Responsibilities Assemble units, parts,
equipment, and components in structural assembly according to
blueprints and specifications using hand tools and power tools.
Bolt, screw, or rivet accessories to fasten, support, or hang
components and subassemblies. Drill holes in structure and
subassemblies, and attach brackets, hinges, or clips to secure
installation or to fasten subassemblies. Locate and mark reference
points and holes for installation of parts and components using
jigs, templates, and measuring instruments. Inspect and test
installed units, parts, and equipment for fit, performance, and
compliance with standards using measuring instruments and test
equipment. Position and align subassemblies in jigs or fixtures
using measuring instruments, following blueprint lines and index
points. Cut, trim, and file parts, and verify fitting tolerances to
prepare for installation. Install bushings using liquid nitrogen or
presses as required. Apply sealants or paint per customer
specifications using proper safety devices. Use shop equipment
needed to complete operations, such as C-squeeze, arbor presses,
ground stud puller, cherry pullers, and shop hand tools. Essential
Skills Assembly experience (Level 1: 6 months, Level 2: 1 year,
Level 3: 3 years) Proficiency with hand and power tools Ability to
read and follow work instruction Job Type & Location This is a
Contract to Hire position based out of Arlington, WA. Pay and
Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
