This position is part of T-Mobile's Global Care team. The Global Care team has a significant operational, financial and legal impact on T-Mobile's overall performance as a telecom leader in customer care. This position is responsible for managing the contractual relationship between our Global Care Partners and T-Mobile's best interests - finances, policies, and government compliance via strategic management of legal agreements, sourcing, and strategy, risk mitigation and compliance, cost, governance, and relationship management. T-Mobile requires all employees in this position to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 prior to starting work. The CDC defines "fully vaccinated" as two weeks after the second dose for Pfizer and Moderna, and two weeks after the single dose of Johnson & Johnson. T-Mobile will require proof of vaccination and consider requests for exemption from this requirement during the offer phase as a reasonable accommodation for medical reasons or sincerely held religious beliefs where the accommodation would not cause T-Mobile undue hardship or pose a direct threat to the health and safety of others. * Possess the ability to independently conduct business and contract negotiations with senior business leaders in coordination with legal counsel. * Possess a strong track record in the identification of risk reduction and the mitigation of risk exposure. * Possess a demonstrated track record of building a team and organizational strength through leadership, partnership, and a high level of integrity. * Possess demonstrated ability to anticipate, mitigate and resolve conflicts across workgroups. * Possess demonstrated abilities in problem-solving and analysis, identifying issues, assessing root cause, improvement opportunities, and associated risk. * Possess proven ability to interact with, protect, and guard confidential company and customer information in the course of successfully performing the job duties. Education and Experience Requirements: * Bachelor's degree or greater in Finance, Business, Legal or similar equivalent * 3+ years experience in Legal contracts, Risk Management, Internal Audit, and/or Vendor Management or similar * 2+ years experience in contract negotiating and contract management * 1+ years experience in government compliance * Outsourcing experience preferred * Customer Care Center experience preferred #LI-CSTA The Global Care Sr. Contract Compliance Manager is responsible for, but not limited to, managing the legal, risk, and compliance elements set forth below, managing multi-million-dollar contracts, as well as providing contractual and risk consulting for internal business owners for vendor relationships outside of Global Care. Legal Responsibilities: * Responsible for the primary governance of multi-million-dollar legal agreements. * Continuously strives to improve the overall contract management process. * Authors, edits, and assists in negotiating/renegotiating legal agreements and associated documentation in order to develop an end-product that meets the strategic requirements of the organization, while balancing overall business costs with the drive for customer experience excellence, while mitigating risks to the organization. * Identifies, communicates, defines, negotiates, and implements changes to the contractual baselines. Coordinates reviews, signatures, and transmittals of contract deliverables and contract data requirements. * Creates and maintains strong working relationships with key stakeholders, such as Global Care Partner senior leadership, T-Mobile Finance, Legal, Risk Management, Frontline Systems and Experience, and Global Care Operations. * Manages contract compliance and administration, including regulatory, policy, service level contractual terms and conditions, and any subsequent issuances of contract modifications. * Provides analysis of existing agreements and provides consulting expertise to senior leadership, leveraging strong partnerships with the legal support team. * Provides direction and subject matter expertise on legal, compliance, and risk implications of outsourced governance to Global Care leaders. Risk Mitigation Responsibilities: * Is responsible for change management program, ensuring consistency in rules/policy and in the documentation of all changes impacting contractual agreements and/or costs. * Acts as POC for internal Fraud Management teams related to Global Care Partner fraud mitigation, detection, and investigation. * Acts as POC for internal Risk Management, Information Security, and Internal Audit related to Global Care Partners. * Ensures Global Care Partners adhere to all enterprise and government regulatory compliance requirements and that they are documented accordingly. * Performs and provides support for various forms of financial and compliance audits of our Global Care Partners and their contact centers. The successful candidate must possess the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment with tight deadlines.
