matchbox is looking for an energetic marketing professional who is ready to take an already well-established brand to the next level. With 14 locations in DC, MD, VA, and FL we're continue to add full-service locations as well as developing a quick service brand. Do you have a passion for food, beverage, and service? Are you a born brand developer and marketing strategist? Then we need you!Brand Understand and communicate a consistent brand look, feel, and voice through various mediumsCollaborate closely with VP of Marketing and Operations team to develop programming and marketing strategyDevelop and manage a marketing calendar to be shared with stakeholders to include promotions, holidays, menu changes, collateral updates, events, social and newsletter, etc.Be a brand guardian, ensuring each restaurant location is representative of the brand through all applicable mediums.Manage a loyalty program with strategically placed promotions to increase sales. Experience with Paytronix or similar platforms is a plus.Manage brand reputation sites such as Google Business, Yelp, etc.Plan paid promotions and campaign through platforms such as OpenTable, Google, Instagram, Facebook, and YelpManage customer service email, reply to guests or forward to appropriate store locationsExperience working with external agency partners such as PR and digital marketingDrive increased online orderingSupport new restaurant openings by performing location and competitive analysis, developing the marketing strategy, build community relationships, and plan opening day activities that are unique to that locationContent + DesignProduce high quality in-store signage and branded swagWork with local and national print vendors for collateral needsCapture high quality photos and videos for social mediaProduce photo shoots and coordinate with chef and freelance photographers to capture high-quality brand photos as neededDesign and edit menusProvide copywriting for email, web, and print - provide examplesEvaluate and modify content needs based on promotions, engagement, guest feedback, and salesDevelop partnerships with local influencers to create content and expand our social media reachSoftwareMicrosoft Office SuiteMicrosoft TeamsAdobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign) - provide design samplesCanvaWebMake on-brand attractive website updates and design changesDesign and update content in SquarespaceBasic understanding of HTML and CSSSocialFacebook, Instagram, TwitterPlatform manager (i.e. Sprout Social or Meta Business Suite)ReportingExperience preparing and presenting a marketing budgetExperience measuring the success of various marketing initiatives in a quantitative manor (budget, resources (time/money), results)About matchbox:Hi.
