Enterprise Information Technology is responsible for the overall
capability, secure configuration, efficient operation, and
cost-effective delivery of services to Acuity's business areas and
end users. The successful candidate will serve as a key member of
our Office of Corporate Technologies leadership team and will hold
additional responsibility as a Deputy Chief Information Security
Office for Acuity's Advanced Medical Solutions line of
business.
The position's area of responsibility includes all aspects of
Acuity's internal enterprise information technology services,
including Microsoft Windows-based core system environments, Active
Directory, Workday, Deltek Costpoint, mobile and endpoint systems.
The successful candidate will ensure that Acuity's enterprise
information systems and networks meet or surpass corporate,
industry, and government requirements, in close collaboration with
Acuity's business area, finance, and human resources
stakeholders.Responsibilities
- Effectively lead and oversee Acuity's enterprise IT services
teams, including the Acuity Technology Operations Center, IT field
services, and program-specific IT functions in all activities, in
alignment with Acuity standards and policies
- Guide and provide oversight of Acuity's Enterprise Business
Services and enterprise resource planning IT functions
- Work closely with Acuity leadership, information technology and
program stakeholders, and Acuity clients to define and deploy
highly secure, flexible, and adaptable solutions for Acuity and
customer missions
- Participate in cross-functional teams in Acuity's enterprise
information technology design, implementations, and architecture
review processes
- Manage annual budget planning and execution for enterprise IT
capabilities within the Acuity Office of Corporate
Technologies
- Serve as an internal stakeholder and internal point of
escalation for on-time, on-budget delivery of IT services to
Acuity's internal operations and projects
- Apply Acuity's cybersecurity vision and strategy in alignment
with business objectives
- Work with Acuity's business units to assess and address IT
security risksQualifications:Knowledge
- In-depth understanding of information technology processes and
best practices, including ITIL service delivery, that best support
the requirements of US Government and highly regulated industry
customers
- In-depth knowledge of enterprise and cloud technologies,
including secure mobile device and endpoint system management,
server virtualization, software-defined networks, and integrated
telephony
- In-depth understanding of public and US Government cloud
platforms, including Microsoft Azure and AWS
- Experience supporting internal and external service level
agreements
- Solid knowledge of business continuity and disaster recovery
standards and best practices
- Solid understanding of business management processes, including
employing information security risk management and cybersecurity
technologies
- Awareness of key legal and regulatory requirements
- Proven management skills in a mission-critical IT production
operations or business supporting roleEducation/Experience
- Minimum of twelve years of experience in information technology
engineering, production operations, architecture, and/or technical
management
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field or comparable professional
experience
- Demonstrated leadership of small- and medium-scale teams to
achieve business goals
- Experience in leading within a fast-paced, complex
organization
- Relevant industry and information security certifications are
desiredSkills
- Understanding organizational objectives and driving results
toward those objectives
- Responding effectively to rapid change in needs, processes, and
technologies
- Ability to understand key concepts and communicate clearly and
concisely, including technical details and processes
- Ability to collaborate effectively and build relationships at
all levels, from Tier 1 support to executive leadership
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to perform under
pressure and manage multiple priorities with competing demands for
resources
- Robust analytical, data processing, and problem-solving
skills
- Proficiency in process formulation and improvement
- Strong analytical skills, including managing multiple projects
under strict timelines and working effectively in a dynamic
environment to meet objectives
