Job Description:
Collaborative Solutions is looking for a high performing
Portfolio Director in the East region, to oversee successful
implementation of the Workday solution on multiple concurrent
enterprise projects. As the Portfolio Director, you will provide
oversight to Engagement Managers leading the projects and serve in
an advisory role on Workday deployments. - You will be driving the
client implementation, and work closely with the client and
Engagement Manager to solve any issues standing in the way of
project success, budget, and profitability. - The Portfolio
Director provides mentoring, guidance, and career counsel to their
team of Engagement Managers. - This individual thrives on leading
successful teams and implementations and building long term
relationships with satisfied customers. - This position reports to
the Regional Vice President.Responsibilities:Serve as Delivery
Executive for a portfolio of Workday deploymentsLead/manage a group
of Collaborative Solutions Senior Engagement Manager and/or
Engagement Managers, while providing guidance and mentoring to this
team and the consultants working on their implementations.Ensure
projects in his/her portfolio are properly planned and staffed, and
track issues and risks, communicate status and escalate concerns
applicable for all clients in his/her portfolio.Interface with
Workday regional leadership regarding project status within
assigned portfolio.Provide guidance to Solution Architects, Sales
Directors and Sales Managers on scope, approach, and
estimates.Prepare and review complex SOWs.Ensure the portfolio of
projects are delivered within the budget outlined in the
SOW.Represent Collaborative at Executive Steering Committee
meetings.Become an expert in Workday's Implementation Methodology
and use it on all engagements; ensure the methodology is deployed
consistently across all engagements in his/her portfolio, while
demonstrating good understanding of the Workday product suite -
HCM, Payroll, and/or Financials.Participate in the sales cycle when
requested to gather requirements, formulate delivery approach, deal
reviews, present at meetings with prospects and developing a
proposal/SOW.Identify opportunities to position other service
offerings.Lead internal process improvement or "build the business"
initiatives.Skills & Requirements:Progressive business management
experience including business development, project management,
managing a P&L, budgeting, and reporting.Consulting experience
with a consulting/software company.10+ years of experience in
Project Management with HCM, Payroll or Financial implementations
for larger complex organizations, overseeing implementations of
Workday, Oracle, SAP, PeopleSoft, or similar application.Experience
managing high performing teams and mentoring others.Be a
self-starter and can function well independently or part of a
team.Outstanding communication skills: - written, verbal,
presentation, and executive interaction.Excellent organization and
time management.Ability to travel up to 50%.#LI-Remote Unless
