PCI Government Services is seeking a mid-level, multi-functional Program Manager/Analyst. They will report to the Program Manager and Vice President of Operations, assisting in managing federal government programs in the Washington DC metro area. Our program provides professional services to enable enhanced delivery of acquisition, project management, and financial services to the government's client base. The Program Manager/Analyst will play a key role in assisting the PM as they provide management, direction, administration, quality assurance and leadership for the execution of specified federal government task orders.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as the point of contact (POC) to provide supervision and guidance for contractors and sub-contractor teams assigned to the contract
  • Understand all aspects of required support and monitor work to ensure follow-through and quality
  • Perform necessary research that will aid the PM in providing technical advice, organization, planning, directing, and managing contractor staff
  • Assist in ensuring goals and objectives of the project are met within the prescribed time
  • Execute administrative functions that allow the PM to provide problem resolution and ensure customer needs are fully satisfied and met
  • Aid in proposal management tasks, such as reviewing RFPs, SOWs, and drafting proposals
  • Monitor programs to evaluate employee engagement and necessary follow up needed by the PM
  • Assist in implementing processes and procedures outlined by government customers
  • Provide needed support in managing events, developing exhibits and presenting at trade shows
    JOB REQUIREMENTS
    • Ability to acquire and maintain a Secret clearance
    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in marketing, communications, business, or a related field
    • At least 4 years of demonstrated experience working alongside management
    • Should have experience working for a large government management consulting firm (GOVCON environment)
    • Experience supporting government acquisition organizations and or programs is desired
    • Some knowledge or experience in one or more of the following functional areas is desired: acquisition, program management, financial performance management, full technical evaluation management services, training and development, business intelligence, office and operational management, quality management and audit support, and communication, branding, and marketing services
    • Familiarity with process improvement initiates, performance management, and project control principles
    • Ability to identify user requirements, translate into project plans and assist in implementing plans
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and software (SharePoint, Teams, Excel) and other communications content management systems and databases
    • Strong written, oral, communication and presentation skills
      PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
      The physical demands described herein are representative of those which must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Employees must possess the ability to work in a production environment. To visit other company sites, employees must be able to operate a motor vehicle which may require sitting for prolonged periods of time. Must possess the ability to quickly adjust controls, see details at close range, respond quickly to signals, and quickly move hands with arms to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects. Must have hearing and speech to communicate in person in a noisy environment, before groups and over the telephone. Standing in work areas and walking between work areas will be required. This position requires an employee to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb or balance, reach, push, and pull. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
