Intelligent Waves, arapidly growing Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Fed/DoDContractor, has an outstanding new opportunity for a DOD Sr. Capture Manager, out ofour corporate office in Reston, VA, a self-motivated DOD Sr. CaptureManager with proven results within the federal market with expertise in theDepartment of Defense (DoD). The--Sr. CaptureManager will be a key driver of growth in IW-s DoD portfolio and is expected towork within a dynamic team environment and will be part of a fast paced, highlycollaborative business development organization.-- Move captures fromcapture initiation to proposal phase with the flexibility to adapt to a fastgrowth environment. -- The Senior Capture Manager will focuson full range of activities from opportunity identification and qualificationthrough proposal and transition support. Roles and Responsibilities includebut are not limited to: -- Work closely with the Vice President of Business Development for DoD and the Defense Senior Vice President for Delivery and other senior leaders to identify, refine, and execute IW-s Defense Account Plan Strategy Move captures from capture initiation to proposal phase with the flexibility to adapt to a fast growth environment. Build a forward-leaning opportunity pipeline focused on Unrestricted opportunities and small business partnerships Prepare, present, and mature opportunities using IW-s Internal Capture Management Process Responsible for identifying potential opportunities, arranging meetings, initiating marketing strategies, building, and strengthening IW relationships Develop and execute effective call plans for meetings with target clients, program managers, and industry partners Will support outreach to DoD agencies, including assistance with building new partnerships and communication strategies; developing methods to expand the IW customer base; and developing strategies to help ensure consistent, efficient, and effective solutions Represent IW at industry events Develop and maintain positive working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, including other business development and capture team members, client executives, proposal managers, corporate infrastructure departments and program management teams to ensure effective, efficient, and integrated implementation of IW capture strategies Build IW-s awareness of business and procurement trends in target DoD agencies Assist in the development of successful pricing strategies, identifying risks, and interpreting solicitation requirements with Delivery staff, SMEs and Proposal Managers on win themes Interface and manage teaming partners for existing relationship as well as developing potential future partners for upcoming opportunities Meet or exceed established performance goals in support of overall corporate growth and success Perform other duties as assigned -- Qualifications Bachelor-s Degree 15+ years of experience selling services in the federal DoD environment; federal contracting/business development/capture management experience is a must Must have a demonstrated/verifiable track record of proven success in the design and implementation of sound business development and capture strategies, as well as successful pursuit of opportunities within the DoD. Strong written and oral communications skills; successful proposal writing experience Direct experience identifying and leading the capture of unrestricted prime opportunities and/or strategic subcontracting opportunities through small and large business partnerships within the federal DoD market Experience capturing Full and Open, ID/IQ, Multiple Award, and BPA contracts and task orders Desire to succeed in a fast-paced and rapidly evolving business organization Must have a mature and active network of contacts relevant to the market and the contractor industry that supports and operates within those markets Proven track record in building accomplished teams, developing and selling solutions, and executing strategic campaigns Experience building and maintaining high-level relationships and demonstrated ability to prospect and close new customers Desire to succeed in a fast-paced and rapidly evolving business organization PersonalAttributes: Must have strong communication and planning skills, be a team player and self-starter. Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
