Job Description & Requirements
Registered Respiratory Therapist - Neonatal Intensive Care - (RRT - NICU)
StartDate: 10/10/2022Available Shifts: 12 D Pay Rate: $1350.00 - 1550.00

Patient Ratios: Approx. 20-30 patient procedures per RCP/ 12 hr shiftType of equipment: Servo I vents, Radiometer ABG analyzersDocumentation system: MeditechScheduling requirements: 3 12 hour shifts per week, days or nights per staffing needsFloating policy: Can work all areas, but not charge dutyPatient Experience requirements: 2 years, Full time critical care adults and NICUMUST HAVE 2 YEARS HOSPITAL EXPERIENCE. Certifications Required: state of Virginia license, RRT preferred, CRT accepted. Required: ACLS, NRP and PALS. Certifications: CAP accredited ABG Lab.Caribbean blue scrubs. Expanded services in the NICU, New ABL90 ABG instruments acquired. Increased trauma services. Good teamwork in department and with the critical care Nurses. Advanced skills needed: Infant Oscillator skill, care of patients in NICU, experience in trauma centers preferred. Must have: Vent care, emergency airway care, all treatments, arterial punctures, Alines, BIPAP, able to work well in small team setting, must be flexible with assignments, HFNC competency, 12 lead EKG experience, and finally compassionate focus on patient care.
