Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist Profession: IR Technologist Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 8 or 10 Hours Hours per Shift: 40 Hours per Week Experience: Minimum of 2 Years License: Valid License Required Certifications: BLS (AHA), Certified Cardiac Interventional Rad Tech - ARRT (CI) Must-Have: Experience in arteriograms, both peripheral and neuro. Experience with coiling, stroke therapy, kyphoplasty, spine work, and carotid stenting. Ability to participate in a rotating call schedule for nights and weekends. Description: This position is for an Interventional Radiology Technologist. The role involves being part of a newly developed Neuro IR call team. The technologist will rotate through body IR as well. Shifts will be either 8 or 10 hours, Monday through Friday, totaling 40 hours a week. There may be additional holiday coverage required. Weekend call rotation will occur between technologists. Each technician will have a commitment of only 3 hours each on Saturday and Sunday for weekend call. Candidates should have extensive experience as the facility is a comprehensive stroke center. This experience includes working with coiling and stroke therapy techniques. Attention to detail and the ability to handle complex procedures in a high-pressure environment are essential. The charting system used will be Epic Systems Corporation - EpicCare Inpatient - EMR.
