Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Oncology - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/23/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an adult medical oncology unit specializing in solid tumor cases, requiring oncology experience and a MD or compact RN license. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Work in a hospital adult medical oncology unit with a focus on solid tumor patients - 18-bed unit with acute care and med/surg telemetry patient population - Day shift, 12 hours, from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM - Uses Alaris infusion pumps and Epic EMR (experience preferred) - Duties include providing oncology care for adult solid tumor patients with acute and telemetry needs - Orientation is offered on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month - Local candidates are accepted at the same rate except where noted otherwise - Strong candidates are preferred for this high-acuity setting /n /n Requirements/n - Active MD or compact RN license required - Current BLS certification required - Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience required - Prior oncology nursing experience required - Experience in a facility with at least 500 beds required - At least 1-2 previous travel assignments required - Experience with Alaris pumps and Epic EMR preferred /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-658970.
