Job Description Gastroenterology Specialty: Gastroenterology Location: Lewisburg, PA Employment Type: Locum Tenens Open Positions: 2 Length: 26 weeks (with extension option) Schedule & Coverage Start Date: November 3, 2025 Coverage Dates (2025): Nov 24 (7a) Nov 29 (7a) Dec 23 (5p) Jan 5 (7a) Ongoing Coverage: 7 days/month minimum, including weekends. Call Schedule: Call blocks typically 7a Monday 7a following Monday OR 7a Friday 7a following Friday . Day and night call required. Clinic/Procedure Times: Mon Thurs: Procedures 7:30a 3:30p; clinic 8a 5p. Fri: Procedures 7:30a 1p; clinic 8a 12p. Worksites: Provider will rotate between hospital, ambulatory center, and office. Work Details Practice Setting: Inpatient Outpatient Support Staff: Medical Director, Office Supervisor, LPNs, MOAs, Surgery Schedulers Patient Volume: Varies (avg. procedures/day) Patient Age Group: Adults (18) Department Scope: Rounding on inpatients, consults, scoping inpatient & outpatient Clinic visits, follow-up care, orders/prescriptions Procedures include colonoscopies, EGDs, flex sigs No ERCP or EUS required Technology: EMR: EPIC Endoscopy Documentation: Lumens (Epic) Experience with EPIC preferred Requirements Board Certification: Gastroenterology (BC required) License: Active Pennsylvania license (IMLC not accepted) DEA: Yes Pennsylvania DEA required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Background Requirements: PA state police criminal record check Child abuse clearance FBI criminal history check Experience: Not specified (clean file strongly preferred) Credentialing: days
