Graduate of an accredited CRNA program - Ability to acquire a
license to practice in Pennsylvania - Must obtain valid federal and

nurse anesthesia education program required. Knowledgeable
regarding controlled substance policies in accordance with Federal
and State laws required. Master's degree preferred. This position
is dependent upon successful attainment and maintenance of hospital
privileges. Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances: Current
licensure as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
required. Board Certified, Recertified, or eligible by the National
Board Certification Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
required. Current AHA -approved CPR certification required. AHA
-approved ACLS/PALS certifications as required by institution of
employ upon hire. Act 33,34, 73 Clearances. - Advanced Cardiac Life
Support (ACLS) - Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary
Resuscitation (CPR) - Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - Registered Nurse (RN) -
Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting with renewal - Act 33 with renewal -
Act 34 with renewal - Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal - Current
licensure either in the state where the facility is located or, if
the facility is in a state covered by the multistate Nursing
Licensure Compact (NLC) agreement, a multistate license issued by a
participating NLC state. Hires and current employees working on an
out-of-state NLC license who later change their residency to the
state where the facility is also located will have 60 days upon
changing their residency to apply for licensure within that state.
