Doctor of Medicine | Radiology - Womens/Breast/Mammo Location: Rockville, MD Employer: VieMed Healthcare Staffing Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: Days - 9 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Join Our Team as a Radiology Mammography Physician and Make a Vital Impact in Breast Imaging We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Radiology Mammography Physician to join our dynamic healthcare team. Key Responsibilities: Perform and interpret mammography and breast MRI procedures with precision and care. Support a busy department with up to 26-28 diagnostic cases daily and 6-8 breast procedures including biopsies. Collaborate with skilled staff including medical assistants, technologists, and US techs to ensure efficient patient flow. Manage a heavy volume in breast MRI imaging, contributing to approximately 60-70 wrRVUs per month. Maintain accurate documentation and uphold the highest standards of diagnostic accuracy and patient safety. Comply with all departmental and organizational protocols. Required Skills: Board Certification in Radiology. Valid state medical license (IMLC license considered if applicable). DEA certification. Proficiency in performing Breast MRIs and mammography procedures. Strong diagnostic skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Ability to manage a high-volume caseload efficiently. Nice to Have Skills: Experience with breast interventional procedures. Prior work in a hospital setting with heavy breast MRI workload. Knowledge of advanced imaging software and workflows. Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations. Preferred Education and Experience: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution. At least 2 years of post-residency experience in breast imaging or mammography. Proven track record handling high-volume diagnostic and procedural workloads. Other Requirements: Certification in BLS and ACLS. Ability to obtain state licensure; credentialing process estimated at 60-90 days. Willingness to work full-time on a Monday to Friday schedule, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with 8.5-hour shifts including paid lunch. Employment details include competitive hourly pay rate of $448.50, with overtime (1.5x) after 8.5 hours per day and premium pay on holidays.
