Job Title: Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM) Experience: Minimum of 2 years strong ICU experience License: RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Moderate sedation experience, current interventional radiology experience Description: This position involves working in the Interventional Radiology department. The unit performs image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for a broad range of services. Patient conditions may include cancer, pain, diabetes, liver, kidney, and other relevant health issues. Interventional radiology is a medical sub-specialty of radiology that utilizes minimally invasive image-guided procedures. The focus is on using the least invasive techniques available to diagnose and treat diseases. This approach aims to minimize risk to the patient and improve health outcomes. The schedule will consist of 10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday. There is no set schedule or block scheduling.
