Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Ambulatory Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: DC license required Certifications: BLS and BSN required Must-Have: - Experience in catheter insertion/removal - Phone triage skills - Ambulatory/outpatient experience - Ability to function independently Description: This position is for an ambulatory care setting specializing in urogynecology. The nurse will provide care for adults and geriatric patients. Required skills include catheter insertion and removal, as well as triaging phone calls. Experience in ambulatory or outpatient settings is necessary. Preferred background includes women's health or pelvic floor urogynecology. Additional skills such as procedure assistance, Urodynamics, and Percutaneous Tibial Nerve Stimulation are helpful but not mandatory. The nurse will assist in various procedures and provide patient education. Daily patient visits average around eight.
