  • This position will maintain employee master file records in CostPoint 7, process timesheet--and transmit labor to ADP payroll system.
  • Record Payroll Entries and reconcile payroll and tax accounts in CostPoint General Ledger.
  • This position is also responsible for filing applications for new state payroll taxes and filing required state labor reports and working with Human Resources to ensure employee profiles are setup correctly. Job Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Enter/Update Employee records in Deltek CostPoint
    • Process and reconcile semi-monthly leave reporting
    • Process several semi-monthly multi-state payrolls for 1000+ employees each (hourly and salaried)
    • Assist to labor/payroll posting in Deltek CostPoint
    • Analyze payroll data and explain variances to Management
    • Reconcile Payroll Accounts(GL) and resolve variances
    • Prepare payroll journal entries and balance payroll general ledger accounts
    • Manage employee inquiries with care and discretion
    • Process PTO payouts and retroactive payments
    • Apply for new state and local taxes as needed
    • Prepare and file labor reporting as assigned
    • Update ADP with tax rates change
    • Reconcile 940 and 941
    • Review quarterly reports and research and resolve discrepancies
    • Assist in various audits Job Requirements and Qualifications:
      • Must be a--US Citizen
      • Strong organization skills, attention to detail and follow through to resolve any outstanding issues.
      • Strong written and verbal communication skills
      • Ability to analyze/interpret data and take appropriate action.
      • Ability & interest in training other team members.
      • Some knowledge of tax reciprocity rules and regulations
      • Ability to assess tasks and prioritize
      • Manage/mentor payroll staffs Experience:--
        • 3+ Experience using ADP Workforce Now payroll processing systems
        • 3+ CostPoint 7 Accounting System
        • 5+ years of high volume, full-cycle payroll processing Education Requirements:
