Job DescriptionWe are looking for a motivated, resourceful Database Administrator with the desire to be a critical member of our team supporting both production and development environments. Under minimal supervision, you will work as a member of the Technical Team installing, maintaining, and securing the databases used by the financial management and acquisitions system application. You will primarily be supporting the development team, while ensuring the stability of the production database.-- You will be working closely with technical team members to maximize the performance of the database in all environments and ensuring compliance with all security directives. You will be managing account access for the support team as well as application schemas.What You---ll Get to Do:Installing database software and quarterly patches for Oracle databases in production and development environments.Performing maintenance of tablespaces and datafiles, and database troubleshooting as needed.Securing the database through the application of Security Technical Implementation Guides and ensuring compliance with all security directives.Writing documentation to capture the configuration of the system, and to support ATO activities.Ensuring the integrity of the production database, including backup and recovery procedures as well as standby databases.Optimizing the performance of the database and support developers by assisting with optimizing queries.Establishing and maintaining database accounts and permissions.Assisting IA in auditing and monitoring the database.Working independently with minimal supervision.You---ll Bring These Qualifications:US Citizen with a current Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or other technically relevant degree.7 years of experience in Oracle database administration.Experience with backup, recovery and Oracle Data Guard.Proficiency with Oracle PL/SQL and stored procedures.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with a strong focus on customer service and solution ownership.Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple, dynamic priorities.Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner.Ability to obtain a CISSP or CASP Certification within six months of hire.These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:Experience with Oracle 18c.Experience with Financial Management or Business Applications.Possess prior experience supporting large scale organizations with successful ERP implementation(s).Experience with data conversion or database application development.Active CISSP or CASP CertificationWhat We Can Offer You:- We---ve been named a Best Place to Work by the Washington Post.- Our employees value the flexibility at CACI that allows them to balance quality work and their personal lives.- We offer competitive benefits and learning and development opportunities.- We are mission-oriented and ever vigilant in aligning our solutions with the nation---s highest priorities.- For over 55 years, the principles of CACI---s unique, character-based culture have been the driving force behind our success.Job LocationUS-Reston-VA-VIRGINIA SUBURBAN--CACI employs a diverse range of talent to create an environment that fuels innovation and fosters continuous improvement and success.
