  Technical Director, Cloud Architecture #322
  
  What You'll Be Doing:
  
  The Technical Director, Cloud Architecture is a senior technical expert of Dev Technology Group's leadership team through the Technical Leadership Group (TLG). As the lead for Cloud Architecture, this critical position is expected to drive value through the adoption and integration of cloud native architectures using a serverless-first approach across current and future lines of effort both internally and externally. Primary expectations for this position are client-facing and working directly on implementation and integration work.
  
  External functions include: participating in Dev Technology public engagements, to include working collaboratively to identify opportunities that align with company strategic goals; supporting Dev Technology Group presence at industry events related to cloud and serverless architectures. Internal functions will include participating in the TLG to provide insight and guidance to the executive team on current and emerging technologies within cloud architectures and cloud-native services, providing direct and indirect guidance and support to innovation teams, participating in SBIR and Challenge work to demonstrate capability to potential clients, working with others in the organization to develop individuals and teams, and providing direct billable support to clients cloud architect roles.     Required Skills and Experience:
    
    
    • Demonstrated success in R&D functions in the field of cloud architecture design and implementation, such as published papers, books, patents, or documented work with research organizations.
    • Demonstrated success leading teams in designing and deploying modern architectures in cloud environments such as AWS.
    • Demonstrated success helping clients better leverage their IT assets to deliver mission capability faster.
    • Demonstrated ability using cloud-native services to architect and implement complex and mission critical applications and services.
      Education: A Bachelor's Degree is required for this position. A Master's Degree in the field of Systems or Software Engineering or related IT field is strongly preferred.
