Engineering and Software Development - Software Engineering / AnaVation is seeking a Software Engineer to join our team and support our mission critical customer in Reston, VA. Responsibilities: As our Software Engineer, you will support design, development and delivery or software solutions in a big data analytical environment. The Software Engineer will analyze, design, develop, and test database programs, data lakes, and associated microservices. Support Operations and Maintenance of existing data lake microservices. - Required Qualifications

• Clearance: Active TS/SCI Clearance
• Education & Years of Experience: Bachelor's degree and 8 years of experience related to specific functional area
• Certifications: Currently hold, or be able to attain a CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification
• Experience and knowledge on:
• Working collaboratively across cross-functional teams of all experience levels
• Creating, maintaining, and updating related knowledge management and technical documentation
• Analysis of software capabilities, requirements, and user needs
• Designing, developing, documenting, testing, and debugging applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions
• Conducting multidisciplinary research: collaborating with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and use of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software
• Analyzing system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls
• Experience developing relational database systems in Government security environment
• Experience with Agile and test driven development methodologies
• Experience and with data feed automation tools Desired Qualifications
  • Security certifications: CCNA Security, CySA+, SSCP, or equivalent certification
  • CSSP Infrastructure Support (Cloud+, CEH, CySA+, or equivalent certification)
