Technology Engineering Associate will support the Tableau product
as Tableau is one of the most critical platforms in Fannie Mae,
with 7000+ users, 100+ application teams. Currently, our team is in
the middle of delivering many key mandates this year, including
-cloud migration of all the applications, scheduled to be completed
by the end of Q3. -This role will -make critical decisions, mentor
junior developers, provide -solutions to complex technical and
business problems, translate -complex requirements into detailed
design, evaluate -feasibility and make -recommendations to the
business customers, while providing operational support on
complex/escalated issues to diagnose and resolve incidents in
production.Minimum Required Experiences
- 5 yearsDesired Experiences
- Bachelor degree or equivalent
- 10 years relevant experience in Business Intelligence
- Preferred 5 years experience with AWS
- Experience with AWS Quicksight
- AWS certified
- Experience with Appstream, CDA/DAAS

will act as the team lead in designing and developing advanced
solutions for information technology (IT) infrastructure
environments, including coding, testing, and certifying technology
platforms, software, and applications, as well as coach and mentor
team members.QualificationsTHE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
- Apply your advanced skills and knowledge to develop solutions
for application design and IT infrastructure components.
- Understand the end-to-end performance of IT platforms and
account for interrelated functionality and processes when
developing designs.
- Establish and maintain policies, guidelines, and standard
operating procedures.
- Monitor performance and capacity metrics for technology
solutions and lead the team in addressing identified issues.Skills
- Ability to understand the goals of the business and break
complex issues into manageable components.
- Experience in developing IT Solutions for business
requirements, functional / technical specifications, and Code
Components.
- Good understanding of best practices used in the BI
Industry.
- Have extensive experience working as Tableau admin, managing
Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, connecting various data sources,
designing complex multi environment Tableau architecture,
Developing and Designing BI Solutions.
- Installation of Tableau desktop on various platforms.
- Proficient in creating multiple kinds of interactive data
visualization dashboards.
- Extensive data analyst, Tableau Experience in Enterprise
Environment.
- Disaster Recovery setup, Backup Primary setup and
configuration, Tableau upgrades
- Experience working with Amazon Web Services like EC2, S3,
Amazon simple DB AWS Identity and access management, AWS Cloud
Watch, Amazon EBS.
- The group of skills related to Programming including coding,
debugging, and using relevant programming languages
- The group of skills related to Relationship Management
including managing and engaging stakeholders, customers, and
vendors, building relationship networks, contracting, etc.
- The group of skills related to Communication including
communicating in writing or verbally, copywriting, planning and
distributing communication, etc.
- Skilled in documentation and database reporting for the
purposes of analysis, data discovery, and decision-making with the
use of relevant software such as Crystal Reports, Excel, or
SSRS
- Experience gathering accurate information to explain concepts
and answer critical questions
- Ability to transform business processes using BPA, RPA, or
other technology-enabled automation
- Skilled in cloud technologies and cloud computing

designing products, developing product roadmaps, translating design
requirements, prototyping, etc.
- Determining causes of operating errors and taking corrective
action
- Adept at managing project plans, resources, and people to
ensure successful project completion
- The group of skills related to Risk Assessment and Management
including evaluating and designing controls, conducting impact
assessments, identifying control gaps, remediating risk, etc.
- Experience monitoring and managing operation systems (OS), and
staying current on patches, upgrades, and other elements of the
OS
- Skilled in establishing and maintaining consistency of a
product's performance, functional, and physical attributes with its
requirements, design, and operational information
- Working with people with different functional expertise
