YOU WILL MAKEAs a valued colleague on our team, you will act as a
team lead in the designing, producing, testing, or implementing
software, technology, or processes, as well as lead processes for
creating and maintaining IT architecture, large scale data stores,
and cloud-based systems.The Lead Software Engineer -role will offer
you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working
alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following
responsibilities:
- Independently determine the needs of the customer while
identifying and resolving conflicting or complementary needs across
customer groups.
- Applying advanced skill, knowledge and experience, design and
develop software solutions to meet customer needs.
- Use a process-driven approach to leading design solutions.
- Implement new software technology and coordinate simultaneous
implementation tasks across teams.
- May maintain or oversee the maintenance of existing
software.
- Provide optimal solutions and help design, improve performance
of our tech stack and build a data lake environment on the AWS
cloud.
- Use modern tools, techniques, and methods to develop, modify,
or update AWS applications used by business or infrastructure
units.
- Serve as SME for AWS Technology Team and actively participate
in Agile development methodologies and processes.QualificationsTHE
EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAMMinimum Required Experiences:
- 4+ years of Python, SQL, PySpark
- 3+ years of experience in building and deploying applications
in AWS (EC2, S3, Glue, Batch, ECS Fargate, EMR, RDS, ELB, Lambda,
SNS, SQS, Redshift, Cloud Watch etc.)
- Experience with Hadoop and or other Big Data Technologies
- Experience with building RESTful Web Services
- Excellent problem-solving skills, strong verbal & written
communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a teamDesired
Experiences:
- Bachelor degree or equivalent
- AWS certification(s) will be preferred
- Unix Scripting, strong experience with Java or C++ is a
plus.
- Machine Learning experience will be a plus
- Knowledge of Financial Products, Risk Management, Portfolio
Management is preferred but not mandatory. -Training will be
provided to help you gain groundSkills
- Skilled in cloud technologies and cloud computing
- Working with people with different functional expertise
respectfully and cooperatively to work toward a common goal
- Experience using software and computer systems' architectural
principles to integrate enterprise computer applications such as
xMatters, AWS Application Integration, or WebSphere
- Programming including coding, debugging, and using relevant
