Description SAIC is seeking for a Software Engineer to join our
team supporting a mission essential program in support of DOD. We
are seeking an individual who is self-motivated, fast learner, and
fully committed to the success of the program. This position will
be located in Reston, VA on SAIC site.
The Software Engineer will work with team to address the feedback
provided by the Government. Leveraging the user stories provided,
appropriate changes to the code will be made to satisfy the need.
Ensuring high quality code and user friendly interface with
guidelines of the feature and functions of the application.
NAVWAR UI Developer Duties/Responsibilities
Fully participate in an Agile Software Development Team using
Angular 7
Participate in sprint planning and scrum meetings
Implement requirements from JIRA story tickets into features on the
user interface
Work with back-end developers on sending and receiving data to
backend using REST/API calls
Handle and manipulate data using JavaScript asynchronous calls and
Typescript for display on UI
Debug SonarQube error findings and clean up code
Merge code changes using Git and GitHub
Work with QA testers to ensure acceptance criteria has been met on
story tickets
Qualifications
Bachelors and five (5) years or more experience; Masters and three
(3) years or more experience; PhD and 0 years related experience;
years of experience can substitute degree
3-5 years of experience building frontend using Angular and
integrating with backend for an application build using micro
services
Experience with the following programming languages/libraries:
Angular, JavaScript, CSS and HTML
Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming
Familiarity with any of the following is highly desirable: Angular
components, directives, services, good understanding of state
management, events, observables, asynchronous functions.
Tech Stack: Tech Stack: Angular 7, NPM, Javascript/ES6, Typescript,
MongoDB, HTML5, Bootstrap, CSS3/SASS, Git/GitHub, Linux
