T-Mobile for Business's (TFB) Strategy & Planning team works with executive leaders from across the company to build the business strategy for TFB. Leveraging deep problem solving and partnership skills, the team delivers insights and helps leaders make critical strategic and partnership decisions. As a part of this team, the Sr. Strategic Partnership Manager is responsible for world-class business development with leading technology companies to enable rapid innovation and growth for T-Mobile for Business. This exciting role will be a key member of the team and will have significant authority and accountability. This person will drive strategic partnerships and related business strategies vital to T-Mobile's business. By structuring and executing partnerships with third-party technology companies, the incumbent will foster innovation and growth across a range of mobile industry sectors, build effective relationships both internally and externally with key stakeholders, and help drive the strategy and execution for key components of the business for TFB. As such, the Sr. Strategic Partnership Manager is expected to drive meaningful business impact and results, requiring competencies in customer focus, change and innovation, strategic thinking, relationship building and influencing, and high impact results.Locations: New York City, Reston, VA, Overland Park, KS, Frisco, TX or Bellevue, WAJob Responsibilities:Provide thought leadership through the identification, evaluation, and execution of new business opportunities through strategic partnerships for a set of defined third party companies on behalf of TFB. In concert with other internal stakeholders, this would include leading the analysis of complex customer/market/business opportunities, assessment of key players and technologies, development of differentiated product/service strategies, creation of financial/business models, and, most importantly, development of business relationships to create new and evolve existing relationships with strategic partners.Structure and drive strategic partnerships and new business relationships including development of key economic, business, and operational terms. Would include internal partnering with Procurement and other teams in negotiating and executing contracts with technology partners, along with close coordination with go-to-market teams in integrating and operationalizing.Manage senior-level relationships with internal customers and with key players in the mobile industry, both in established and emerging segments and ecosystems, in formulating and creatively evolving strategic partnerships.Develop domain expertise in sectors vital to T-Mobile's core growth strategies. Formulate recommendations and lead reviews of new opportunities, technologies, business models etc., to cross-functional teams to ensure fit and overall alignment.Build strong and trusting relationships with key players at target companies and in related sectors, to include both established and emerging segments. Be adept at working well with small and large firms and be equally effective in pursuing work at varying levels within these companies, including up to C-level executives.Work with TFB Strategy and Planning team members to deliver against identified priorities both short term and long term.Qualifications:8+ years of business development, alliance management, and/or strategic sales experience with financial/economic analysis in wireless, high-tech (software, internet/new media, entertainment/content, etc.) or consumer electronics industriesExperience in negotiating and facilitating the operationalization of complex contracts/SOWs/amendments, co-marketing agreements, and related documentationExperience in proactively and thoughtfully managing a portfolio of external technology partners across the partnership lifecycleExceptionally strong strategic, industry, and financial/economic analysis skillsEducation:Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, or related Field* At least 18 years of age* Legally authorized to work in the United States* T-Mobile requires all employees in this position to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19, unless precluded from doing so by applicable law.
