Senior Manager, Technology Risk Guide - Enterprise Services Risk
The Enterprise Services Risk organization is expanding with a focus

financial sector. As a Senior Manager Risk Guide Leader supporting
Enterprise Services Risk, you will partner with colleagues across
product, tech and other risk teams to deliver results that have a
direct impact on internal and external customer experience and
implement risk solutions to ensure Capital One’s continued
stability and success. Responsibilities require partnering with a
broad set of leaders and stakeholders to identify existing and
potential emerging risks in an open, collaborative environment
where new ideas and solutions are both welcomed and rewarded. As a
Senior Manager Risk Guide Leader, you will have the technical
skills to understand our digital products and be able to
effectively slope the risks. You will have knowledge of risk
methodologies, the ability to build relationships and establish
credibility with business, tech and risk partners. The ability to
think from a ‘customer back’ perspective is also critical. Leaders
in risk management at Capital One are highly motivated
professionals with excellent organizational, technical, leadership
and communication skills. They have a high level of exposure across
lines of business and the opportunity to work with Executives to
create and implement innovative solutions to identify and mitigate
potential risks to Capital One. In this role, you will: Partner
with Product and Tech teams, leveraging a trusted advisor model to
support business initiatives, issue management, process
improvement, control testing and related risk assessment activities
Assist Tech and Product Risk leadership in delivering against their
strategy and services Develop a deep understanding of business
strategies, products, services, and risk profile Be able to
evaluate the technical products and risk slope efforts based on
technical and cyber impacts. Implement process improvements:
process certification framework, process hierarchy change
management, change control, and risk reporting Ensure independent
escalation of risk management gaps, issues, and concerns, including
emerging risks and regulatory focus areas Consult on Risks across
the first line of defense business partners providing advice and
guidance as needed Participate in processes criticality assessments
and process level assessments Manage multiple tasks independently
to meet deadlines Communicate complex ideas concisely and
convincingly, adjust communication to the audience and comfortable
with presenting to executive leadership. Collaborative, values
diverse perspectives and seeks insights from others. Brings energy
to the group and rallies them around a common goal. Basic
Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or Military Experience At least 5
years of experience in Risk Management, Process Management, Project
Management, or a combination At least 5 years of experience in
Technology Management or Cyber Risk Management At least 5 years of
experience supporting, partnering, and interacting with internal
and external business clients At least 4 years of experience
consulting with senior executives or strategy building Preferred
Qualifications Risk Certifications (CRISC, CISM, CRCM, CIPP, ABA
Risk Mgmt Certification) At least 6 years of experience supporting,
partnering and interacting with internal stakeholders At least 3
years of experience in the Financial Services industry At least 5
years of experience in AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud technologies
Project Management (PMP) or Program Management (PgMP) certification
Knowledge of appropriate controls to secure cloud-based services
(SaaS) products At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new

minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are
listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information
is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these
locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay
at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be
prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly
worked. McLean, VA: $200,700 - $229,100 for Sr. Manager, Cyber Risk
& Analysis Richmond, VA: $182,500 - $208,300 for Sr. Manager, Cyber
Risk & Analysis Candidates hired to work in other locations will be
subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the
actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the
time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer
letter. This role is also eligible to earn performance based
incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or
long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or
