Project Manager Job Description · Leads the design and delivery of
complex, high-visibility web initiatives for NSF OLPA. · Designs
user-centered, accessible webpage layouts aligned with NSF branding
and federal standards. · Provides project management oversight for
web tasks, including schedules, priorities, and coordination across
roles. · Advises NSF staff on web design best practices,
accessibility, and content presentation. · Ensures compliance with
Section 508/WCAG, U.S. Web Design System, and federal
plain-language requirements. · Manages stakeholder requirements,
resolves competing priorities, and ensures quality outcomes. ·
Supports large updates, special initiatives, and cross-functional
digital projects. Education Requirements · Bachelor’s degree in Web
Design, Digital Media, Computer Science, Human-Computer
Interaction, or a related field; or · Equivalent combination of
education and experience. Experience / Qualifications · Minimum 8
years of professional experience in web design and development. ·
At least 5 years leading web projects or managing web-focused
teams. · Advanced experience with Drupal CMS layouts and publishing
workflows. · Demonstrated expertise in accessibility-compliant,
user-centered design. · Experience advising stakeholders in federal
environments preferred.
