Based in the DC metropolitan area, TechSur specializes in advanced
cloud services, modernization for both IT structures and
applications, leveraging Agile development, and Data Analytics.
Since we were formed in August of 2016, we have supported multiple
impactful and exciting government programs. Roles and
Responsibilities Seeking an experienced Senior Systems
Administrator in Virtualization and Hyper-converged Infrastructure
technologies Nutanix, VMware, and information technology enterprise
systems. Key role will include experiencing in T infrastructure
specially managing Windows server and Nutanix AOS and AHV cluster
environment, Citrix VDI (creating and maintaining images)
environment, Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu or CentOS), network security,
active directory management, exchange mailbox, network storage and
backups, and threat and vulnerability monitoring. May interact with
network services, software systems engineering, and/or applications
development to restore service and/or identify and correct core
problem. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in
virtual enterprise solutions and basic networking, securing
enterprise environments, Hypervisor expertise and Microsoft domain
services management, familiarity with automation and scripting
languages along with proficiency in collaboration tools such as
SharePoint and Teams. Required Skills Knowledge of Vitalization and
hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI) technologies – Nutanix AHV,
VMware, Hyper-V, Citrix VDI (XenApp, FlexApps) Manage and optimize
VMware and/or Nutanix virtualization technologies, implement data
protection DR solutions Provide support for Citrix VDI, snapshots,
and replication Experience with networking, administering backups,
and distributed storage systems – Cohesity, SAN environment Ability
to handle cluster upgrades, security hardening, Firewalls, threat
monitoring, and troubleshooting Install, configure, and maintain
Windows Server environments, DNS, DHCP including Active Directory
and Group Policy management. Monitor network and systems
performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues. Perform system
patching and updates to ensure compliance and security. Document
system configurations, procedures, and security policies. Capture,
document, and maintain knowledge documents and processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system
functionality and security, Resolve hardware and application issues
with clear communication Experience managing standing up and
troubleshooting Windows Server Operating Systems in virtual and
physical environments (i.e. VMware or Hypervisor) Automation –
experience with scripting languages and tools PowerShell, and
familiarity with Python or Ansible Education Bachelor’s degree in
information technology, Computer Science, or related field
