Job Title: Business Analyst / Scrum Master with Testing
Experience Location: Reston, VA (Hybrid – 3x/Week) Salary: DOE full

TechSur specializes in advanced cloud services, modernization for
both IT structures and applications, leveraging Agile development,
and Data Analytics. Since we were formed in August of 2016, we have
supported multiple impactful and exciting government programs.
Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst
with strong testing experience and Agile delivery expertise to
support cross-functional teams in driving business outcomes,
ensuring high quality software delivery, and facilitating Agile
practices. The ideal candidate will blend hands-on analysis and
testing capabilities with Scrum Master leadership to support sprint
execution, requirements delivery, and continuous improvement. Key
Responsibilities Agile Delivery & Scrum Master Duties Support
Agile/Scrum delivery, ensuring ceremonies (daily standups, sprint
planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives) are productive and
aligned with team goals Manage sprint planning, backlog grooming,
and cross-team coordination to enable predictable delivery Act as a
facilitator and servant leader, removing impediments and supporting
team performance Balance hands-on execution with delivery
leadership to drive team success Business Analysis & Requirements
Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business and functional
requirements across multiple applications Lead requirements
gathering and refinement sessions with business stakeholders to
ensure clarity and alignment Translate business needs into clear
user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications
Collaborate closely with technical teams to support design
discussions and solution evaluation Testing & Quality Assurance
Perform functional, integration, and regression testing in lower
environments Execute comprehensive test scenarios to maintain
system stability across releases Validate defect fixes, track
issues, and coordinate defect triage throughout the delivery cycle
Ensure readiness for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production
releases User Acceptance Testing & Stakeholder Collaboration
Partner with Tech Monitors and business users to organize and
conduct UAT Support business stakeholders throughout the UAT
process, helping clarify requirements and confirm acceptance
criteria Ensure effective communication between technical teams and
business owners Release & Post-Production Support Assist with
production releases, including validation of deployments and
post-release support Monitor release outcomes for quality and
performance, facilitating corrective action when necessary Ensure
consistent delivery quality while balancing hands-on execution and
strategic oversight Required Qualifications Proven experience as a
Business Analyst with involvement in testing and QA activities
Experience supporting Agile/Scrum teams, including backlog
management and sprint execution Strong understanding of functional,
integration, and regression testing methodologies Demonstrated
ability to lead requirements-gathering sessions and communicate
effectively with technical and business stakeholders Experience
serving in a Scrum Master or delivery leadership role preferred
Desired Skills Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and
documentation skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced,
collaborative environment Experience with project management and
test management tools Familiarity with UAT coordination and release
processes Education Bachelor’s degree in computer science,
information science, or related field
