We're looking for a candidate to fill this position in an
Utilize established network in the company to actively meet with
potential clients and identify new business opportunities
Develops and executes a tactical sales strategy for the market
Responsible for Pipeline development and management
Collaborate and coordinate business development (BD) activities
internally ensuring opportunities are prioritized and managed
within the business area.
Responsible for developing and managing call plans
Based on analysis of customer research, develops a strategy to
establish new business, expand and grow existing business.
Identifies and/or develops customer needs.
Identifies, cultivates, and establishes teaming agreements with
key strategic partners based on analysis of market place. Develops
strategic relationships for campaign pursuits, cultivating long
term relationships with strategic partners.
Participate in all business development processes,
including pipeline reviews, opportunity gate reviews, and black hat
Support capture management and proposal development staff to
ensure delivery of the highest quality products. Implements best
business practices to ensure team evolves and remains
Have responsibility for: customer contact, competitive
intelligence, gap analysis and bid team structuring.
Interface with industry peers and evaluate/recommend teaming
Bachelor's degree is required and Master's degree is
10+ years related experience working in the Information and
Technology federal government contracting environment
10+ years' experience in developing pipelines, strategic plans
and new business budgets
Must have effective oral and written communication skills
coupled with the ability to establish and maintain productive
customer and industry participant networks
Must be a US citizen with ability to obtain a Government
