Responsibilities Pragmatics, Inc . is seeking a  General Manager of Market Operations to support a growing and profitable business. The  General Manager of Market Operations  will bring the necessary focus to the business to identify growth opportunities, maintain profitability, make continued improvements in customer satisfaction, and drive productivity and value-creation.

As the  General Manager of Market Operations  you will be responsible for the following key areas:

Planning, developing, implementing and directing the market operation's activities across Defense and Civilian markets supporting high levels of customer satisfaction and corporate growth;

Driving new growth opportunities to meet revenue and profitability targets;

Ensuring the “protection of the core” by preparing and winning existing engagement re-competitions;

Managing the direction of daily activities of the operation, ensuring it is properly organized, staffed and directed;

Ensuring that all functions of operation are performed in a manner consistent with all Company standards of quality, ethics, and safety;

Maintaining responsiveness to customer requirements and building strong customer relationships. Regularly interfacing with customer representatives to maintain open communications and to develop and expand business opportunities;

Planning, organizing and directing business development and marketing functions; as well as, coordinating and cooperating with the other business areas;

Supporting the development of operating budgets that support the business to achieve Company objectives. Assure execution of approved operating budget;

Ensuring that all resources (direct employees, consultants, subcontractors) under your management responsibilities adhere to and maintain the highest standard of ethical behavior.

Qualifications Education  and Experience :

Bachelor’s degree (preferred computer science or engineering discipline) and at least 10 years related experience in DoD and Federal Civilian markets;

Record of successful specific opportunity pursuit and revenue growth;

Relationships within DoD and/or Civilian agencies;

Direct experience leading and writing complex proposals;

Knowledge and experience in systems development highly preferred, especially in areas of DevSecOps and application modernization.

Clearance:

Must have the ability to obtain a Secret clearance. Top Secret clearance highly preferred.
