In support of our ongoing growth, we are looking for a
Compensation Director to be responsible for the design,
implementation, and ongoing evaluation of the organization’s global
compensation programs, including base pay, incentive pay, and
performance management programs. In this role, you will
evaluate current compensation programs and strategize with
executives and the HR Team on how they can be optimized to support
a high-performance culture in a rapidly growing organization. This
position is based from our headquarters located in Troy, MI, or
remote for other locations.
WHAT’S YOUR IMPACT?
Plan, develop and implement our global compensation programs
including policies, processes and communications
Ensure the programs are market competitive, aligned with
business goals, consistently administered, and in compliance with
company policies and government regulations
Prepare qualitative and quantitative analytics in collaboration
with Finance to support development of cost-effective compensation
programs, including proposals for program changes, utilization,
vendor performance, trends and program analysis
Provide expertise and guidance to other members of the HR team
and the broader Plex management team; advise HR and Managers on pay
recommendations and decisions, policy and guideline
interpretations, job evaluations and provide creative solutions to
Ensure grades and ranges have internal and external equity
Perform pay disparity audits and make recommendations to
Work with business leaders and Finance on designing, aligning,
and updating incentive plan programs to drive business results
Administer Equity program in partnership with the Finance
Oversee the compensation administration process including the
planning and implementation of annual salary reviews, merit
increases, and short/long term incentives
Lead and facilitate the definition of job evaluation and
classifications and create pay offers
Communicate and educate employees on compensation and our
IS IT IN YOU?
Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business Administration, Accounting,
Finance, or related field preferred. Certified Compensation
Professional (CCP) designation a strong plus
7+ years of compensation experience including market and
competitive analysis, compensation analytics, program
development/management and working knowledge of wage and hour
Ability to see the bigger business picture, question assumptions
and existing ways of doing things
Advanced MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills to design business
