Experience with application design, integration and deployment in an integrated global IT environment

Ability to manage project constraints time, cost and quality

5 to 8 years general IT/IS experience and systems development

4+ years project management experience

Description Our client's Identity Management team is seeking an experienced project manager who can thrive in a fast-paced workplace where both individual drive and team collaboration are the keys to success. This position requires a technical background, as well as business acumen in addition to project management skills. Several years of experience in the software engineering industry is required. The project manager is responsible to work with cross-functional technical and business teams during software development life cycle. Candidate must be able to prioritize issues and track the details as well as the big picture. Being able to think on your feet is important, as is the ability to productively debate the validity of a given approach to any aspect of a project under your control. An instinctive ability to look forward in order to anticipate future needs and risks is also critical. Strong organization and communication skills are must-haves for any candidate. Being a self-starter with a strong sense of personal responsibility and ownership is also important as the team is looking for the kind of person who can dive right into a problem and get it taken care of without having to be asked to do so. Job Responsibilities Drive functional and technical design for business requirements Autonomously manage projects of varying scale and complexity Lead cross-functional projects with only consultative direction from management Plan and manage a portfolio of projects, setting priorities, measurable objectives and manage change Manage communication apprising status and issues to team members, management and other project stake holders Collect and review business requirements, ensure clarity and establish expectations for services requested Develop manage and execute project plans, defining scope, schedule, risk, deliverables, resources and budget

Education

BS degree in computer science or information management plus 5 - 8 years or MS degree plus 3 - 5 years experience or equivalent
