Position Summary Designs and develops tests and test requirements for products, systems, software, andor related components Essential Job Functions bullReviews and evaluates software products and systems to ensure adherence to company and customer quality standards. Develops softwaresystems testing procedures and conducts tests. bullReviews and evaluates software products and systems to ensure adherence to company and customer quality standards. bullEstablishes software quality standards for life cycle, documentation, development methods, testing, and maintenance. bullDevelops and implements softwaresystems testing standards and procedures, and coordinates testing. bullDocuments and analyzes test results, and makes recommendations to improve overall quality. bullCoordinates testing of purchased third-party software andor services to ensure that company standards and end-user requirements are met. bullProvides guidance and work leadership to less-experienced Quality Assurance personnel, and may have supervisory responsibilities. bullCoordinates quality-related training. bullMaintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned. bullParticipates in special projects as required. Education Bachelor's Degree in Computer Programming, Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or workmilitary experience.
