Capgemini Government Solutions (CGS) LLC is seeking a highlymotivated and entrepreneurial junior business development professional to join our National Security and Defense (NSD) team in the Washington, DC area. This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing team in a multifaceted role working in collaboration with our Capability Teams and Account Teams. Job Responsibilities As a Business Development Representative Consultant, you will Serve as a trusted advisor and business partner within the(NSD) Public Sector team. Support existing client consulting teams, emphasizing an entrepreneurial mindset in developing new opportunities, and driving thought leadership (methodologies, whitepapers, etc.) that contribute to improved client relationships. Build upon, advance, develop relationships and brand awareness within our key client account for the Department of Defense (DoD). Identify, qualify, and secure business opportunities while coordinating business generation activities Developing customized targeted business development and capture strategies Collaborating with Capgemini leadership team to strategize, secure, retain, and grow accounts Creating informative presentations presenting and delivering information to potential clients at client meetings, industry exhibits, trade shows, and conferences Establish and maintain a pipeline of qualified opportunities using a CRM software Maintain a short- and long-term business development plan Development and maintenance of client relationships and the management of multiple simultaneous complex internal and external work streams to further our positioning on large deals in the market. Support existing client consulting teams, emphasizing an entrepreneurial mindset in developing new opportunities, and driving thought leadership (methodologies, whitepapers, etc.) that contribute to improved client relationships. Support the implementation of bid strategies, proposal approaches and technical solutions, along with help with written proposals for RFIRFQRFP. Support account planning activities to develop business within DoD market. Assist with pipeline and capture of opportunities to meet business and market goals. Engage with Capgemini parent company resources (200,000 worldwide) and build relationships to bring commercial and international expertise and capabilities to FederalCivilian clients. Actively meet with small businesses, software vendors, technology providers, and other partners to formulate successful teaming partnerships. Brief executive clients on Capgemini domain experience and capabilities. Basic Qualifications U.S. Citizenship is required. Eligible to obtain and maintain Government Security Clearance is required. Current Government Security Clearance preferred. Bachelor s degree from an accredited CollegeUniversity. Master s Degree or MBA preferred. Minimum of 2-4 years of professional consulting experience supporting DoD with proven experience in business development activities (e.g. supporting account and capture plans andor government proposals). Ability to clearly communicate results and educate others through well-organized and detail-oriented reports and presentations. Exceptional analytic skills with the demonstrated ability to take complex client and vendor concepts and articulate them to audiences of varying perception levels. Direct experience writing to multiple proposal response types (e.g., vehicles, task orders, prime, sub). Strong understanding of Government procurement processes and procedures. Knowledge of end-to-end capture process, proposal process, and delivery lifecycle. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to include expertise in setting and managing customer expectations with executive-level clients. Experience interacting with and presenting to senior federal government leadership to include the ability to clearly and concisely present technical topics to a variety of stakeholders.
