You will be part of a mission critical team of professionals who provide world-class IT network and service management capabilities; cutting edge cyber threat awareness and cybersecurity solutions; innovative web- and software applications development; and advanced data analytics for a major Intelligence Community client.Itec Solutions is seeking an IT Systems Engineer to provide technical services to our client within the intelligence community. The system engineering team will analyze, investigate, and provide in-depth synopses of Sponsor projects and technical initiatives from a wide range of disciplines including network engineering, GPS technologies, data center operations, satellite data transport architectures and communication electronics design. The system engineering will support prototype development for the above initiatives. Work Requirement: The team shall work closely with Project team leads and the Sponsor office on activities including multi-site architecture definition, identification of hardware and applications needed to complete development processes, conducting technical security and risk assessments and mitigations, advanced systems monitoring design and implementation, and developing and implementing test plans for commercial off the shelf (COTS) and custom developed systems and microelectronics. In addition to technical responsibilities position responsibilities include developing and providing assessment briefings, attending customer meetings, and participating in all Sponsor activities related to the assignment and ensuring deliverables meet all relevant quality and security standards. Mandatory Skills: ? Demonstrated experience with architecture definition and documentation of tracking and location and geolocation collection platforms? Demonstrated experience with creating and tracking of System Architecture Documents? Demonstrated experience with CONOPS Definition and Requirements Verification and Traceability Matrices? Experience developing and deploying new capabilities leveraging NTM systems ? Experience defining systems architecture for tracking and locating and geolocation collection systems, to include data backhaul for collection? Demonstrated experience with architecture definition and documentation of tracking and location collection platforms? Demonstrated experience with creating and tracking of System Requirements Documents (SRD)? Demonstrated experience with requirements Verification and Traceability Matrices (RVTM)? Experience with Network and Systems monitoring employing Solarwinds commercial software? Experience and detailed knowledge of Data Center Environmental systems to include Air Conditioning and Power conditioning systems? Experience with NTM collection and data handling including Tasking, exploitation, and data delivery? Practical knowledge and experience with the SSV GPS technology? Demonstrated knowledge of RF geolocation technologies and techniques? Experience with GPS technologies to include commercial and government GPS Hardware and Software capabilities Optional Skills:? Ability to coordinate and document network security design and implementation with security officers? Experience with System and IT O&M support of global multi-site systems? Experience with commercial low power microelectronic design and implementation techniques including ASIC and MCM technologies? Ability to travel and provide in-depth training on technical collection capabilities ? Demonstrated knowledge of commercial satellite system architectures for new mission enhancements?
