Assessment and Authorization (A&A) Engineer Category: Cyber Security Consulting City: Reston, Virginia, United States Position ID: J0221-1497 Employment Type: Full Time Position Description: CGI Federal is seeking an experienced Information Security Analyst for an exciting opportunity within our Intel Community.Various levels are outlined below.Functional Role: Assessment and Authorization (A&A) Engineer - Senior Duties: Performs, reviews, and conducts technical security assessments of computing environments to identify points of vulnerability, non-compliance with established Information Assurance (IA) standards and regulations, and recommend mitigation strategies to the team through either DevOpsSec or full Risk Management Framework (RMF)+. Assists architects and developers in the identification and implementation of appropriate information security controls and potential security functionality to ensure uniform application of security policy and enterprise solutions. Supports the Assessment and Authorization (A&A) process within DIA for the contractor-developed transition MIDB database. Degree: Bachelors Experience: 5-8 years experience in performing tasks related to Assessment & Authorization (A&A) within the Intelligence community. Desired: Minimum of an IAT Level II certification. IAT/IAM Level III certification is preferred.
