May 14, 2021 Associate Data Analyst Job Description Job Title Associate Data Analyst Location Reston, VA About this Role The Digital Operations team is seeking a Data Analyst to mine our large-scale data sets (2+ trillion data recordsmonth), solve data problems, and provide insights to help inform our clients strategy in launching and analyzing marketing campaigns around the world. The Data Analyst will be responsible for producing and analyzing data used to generate and deliver our Digital Mobile and Multi-Platform audience measurement products. The individual will support the operational delivery of these measurement products in multiple markets, driving solutions to meet market demands. This role requires hands on data analysis, daily creative problem solving, designing new or improving existing data quality solutions, and above all, delivering against Comscore's operations objectives. Their work will have a direct impact on driving business strategies for prominent industry leaders. We are a small but powerful team of data junkies, analyzing over 20 TB of data each day to deliver product solutions to our clients. What You'll Do Utilize SQL, Python, data warehousing and big data technologies during analytics delivery efforts Work with Product Management on what problems to tackle and collaborate with Data Science and Core Processing EngineeringOperations teams to create robust production solutions Investigate processing and methodology cases that cause data quality issues Drive analytical projects that span across multiple teams and functions Build, test, and evaluate new features and concepts during the production integration process Design and develop solutions to streamline processes, enhance data quality, and drive intelligent Quality Assurance Participate in ongoing research and evaluation of new operational solutions and technologies Analyze trends and draw insights, solving problems and data investigations for product management and client insights What You'll Need Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems, or similar quantitative discipline 1-3 years of professional experience in data analysis and problem solving with massive datasets 1-3 years of professional experience with SQL, R andor Python, Excel, etc Self-motivation and strong communication skills are both must haves You will need to be comfortable working in a fast-paced work environment with shifting priorities, vague requirements, and rapid iterations Ability to think creatively and solve complex problems Ability to autonomously manage simultaneous projects in a fast-paced business environment Excellent verbal, written and computer communication skills with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills Ability to consistently meet key result expectations Ability to manage change, course correct, and respond decisively Ability to take on new responsibilities with easeIdeal 1-3 years of professional experience in analysis and problem solving with big data technologies (HadoopSparkNo SQL etc.) About Comscore At Comscore, we're pioneering the future of cross-platform media measurement, arming organizations with the insights they need to make decisions with confidence.
