Leidos has an opportunity available for two Software Engineers
on a project located in the Reston, VA area. These positions
require an active TS/SCI with Polygraph in order to be
The Software Engineers will support the Enterprise Authorization
Services’ access control component tasked with improving
consistency, compliance and security measures needed to enhance
data sharing across the Enterprise. The selected individuals will
leverage cloud hosting availability and self-healing capabilities
to ensure that Identity Access Management (IdAM) services can meet
availability, scalability and security objectives. Services such as
Externalized Authorization are leading to a paradigm for IdAM,
leveraging state of the art solutions using industry standards.
These Software Engineers will install, deploy, and maintain the
access decision services COTS products and develop critical
software components that leverage COTS APIs. They will collaborate
with various technical personnel to integrate and develop new
digital policies with the enterprise service. In addition to other
responsibilities, they will also participate in the testing
process, support end user training, utilize Agile and Scrum
development methodologies, create documentation, communicate the
strategy and progress of authorization services to technical and
nontechnical audiences, research standards, and engineer a system
upgrade to increase process automation for the enterprise's Digital
Policy Management (DPM) system.
Translating technical specification documentation into
Demonstrated experience developing, testing, deploying, and
maintaining complex APIs.
Demonstrated experience using Amazon Web Services (AWS)
including Cloud Formation, Dynamo, RDS, and S3.
Demonstrated experience deploying solutions to a cloud
environment such as AWS, Oracle, and MS Azure.
Demonstrated experience integrating with COTS applications.
Demonstrated experience using Junit for functional, integration,
and unit testing.
Demonstrated experience with Linux.
Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and debugging software
in a production environment.
Demonstrated experience troubleshooting user issues.
Demonstrated experience developing in an Agile team
Demonstrated experience with the data management lifecycle,
governance, best practices, and challenges.
Demonstrated experience delivering enterprise level IdAM
Demonstrated experience conducting all phases of continuous
Demonstrated experience with XACML.
Demonstrated experience with COTS digital policy tools.
Experience using digital policy authoring languages, such as
those based on sequel query languages and scripting languages.
Demonstrated experience with risk management activities such as
identifying, citing, ranking and establishment of appropriate
Demonstrated experience with SQL.
Demonstrated experience with back-end, service-based, automated
Demonstrated experience with workflow tools such as tool
selection, design, implementation, and optimization.
