Prescient Edge is seeking a Space Counterspace Analyst - Expert in support of a Federal Government client. As a Space Counterspace Analyst - Expert, you will:

  • Conduct all-source analytic production of foreign space capabilities including, but not limited to: foreign adversary space doctrine, strategy, communications and collections, vulnerabilities, platforms, assembly and launch capabilities, weapons, dual-use systems and technologies, and emerging space technologies
  • Work with engineers and scientists on foreign space capabilities

Job Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI clearance required - must be willing and able to obtain a CI Polygraph
  • Master's degree in a related area from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education
  • Minimum 20 years of relevant experience conducting analysis in this subject area with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years
  • Must demonstrate ability to define problems, supervise studies, and lead surveys to collect and analyze data in order to provide advice and recommend solutions
  • Must demonstrate analytic leadership and expertise in identifying, planning, developing, and executing analytic production methodologies, tradecraft, and techniques aligned with the mission
  • Must demonstrate extensive ability to provide strategic advice, technical guidance, and expertise to Defense planners and policymakers (e.g., Undersecretary level or higher)
  • Must demonstrate mastery of qualitative and quantitative analytic methodologies and pursue developments in academia or other fields that affect tradecraft methodology
  • Must demonstrate the ability to define comprehensive, new, or unique research approaches that enable rigorous assessments to address and contribute to high-level tasks
  • Must understand in-depth analysis of analytic operations and knowledge management issues across organizational and intra-Intelligence Community (IC) boundaries as well as clearly articulate key findings
  • Must demonstrate the ability to work independently and with minimal oversight
  • Must demonstrate the ability to review analytic products for cogent arguments, tradecraft standards, and adequate support for conclusions
  • Must demonstrate the ability to routinely conduct tests of analytic products with rigor
